Proposal Express/ PeopleSoft (MyAccess)	Departments use to generate the UCSF OSR Approval Form for each proposal that they submit, track the status of the proposal and know when/how it was shipped to the sponsoring agency.	Contact your Department Control Point
Centralized Agreement Contact Tracking and Approval System (CACTAS) (MyAccess)	Agreement management tool used for sponsored research agreements and Professional Service Agreements (PSA). Departments may view award status. Learn more	Contact [email protected]
Research Enterprise Management System (REMS)	Application to track indirect cost exceptions, maintain sponsor codes and publish sponsor guidance. OSR Training Opportunities	OSR staff are provided access to REMS. RPAC will not authorize access without support from your local Contracts and Grants/Sponsored Projects Office.
Proposal and Award Metrics Dashboard (PAMDash)	Provides on-demand access to proposal and award data metrics. Learn more	PAMDash.ucsf.edu UCSF Campus or Medical Center network/VPN connection REQUIRED; open to all UCSF Campus and Medical Center Staff and professional affiliates Any problems related to Access should be reported to the Service Desk at 514-4100 or enter a ticket online at https://ucsf.service-now.com/ess/get_it_help.do and choose Business Application IE and Chrome are preferred browsers. If using Firefox or Safari, a login box will appear. Please use your MyAccess login and password.

Federal Systems

System	Description	Request Access
Grants.gov	Federal Application Portal. The majority of federal applications are prepared in eProposal which routes them through Grants.gov before being retrieved by individual federal research administration systems. eProposal will generate a message if the application forms or submission to the sponsoring federal agency is not supported by eProposal.	Work with your OSR staff to download materials and submit in Grants.gov.
eRA Commons	Provides applicants, grantees and federal staff the tools necessary for electronic processing of grants, fellowships and cooperative agreements. The eRA Commons and IMPAC II systems support the: Full grants life cycle from receipt of award to closeout for NIH awards Application and award process for AHRQ, CDC, FDA, SAMHSA and the VA In order to submit an application to the NIH, AHRQ, CDC, FDA, SAMHSA or VA, an active eRA Commons ID affiliated with UCSF is required.	Contact your OSR Staff to have a new username assigned or an existing username affiliated with UCSF. UCSF staff accounts (ASST) are also available for those involved with assisting proposal submission and/or xTrain.
Electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal (eBRAP)	eReceipt System supporting the application submission process for the following Department of Defense (DoD) programs: Congressional District Medical Research Program (CDMRP) US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) Defense Health Program (DHP)	Contact your OSR Staff to request/coordinate access.
HRSA Electronic Handbook (EHB)	Single access point for all HRSA grant and non-grant programs for grant submission and administration.	Contact your OSR Staff to request/coordinate access.
NSF Research.gov	Online Grants Management for the NSF community.	Register for a new account and request the appropriate role for UCSF using the UEI - KMH5K9V7S518. OSR will be notifited by the system and review/approve the role.
System for Award Management (SAM.gov)	Federal Tracking System. Official U.S. Government system that consolidates the capabilities of the Central Contractor Registry (CCR/FedReg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS).	EPLS does not require a login. As the office of record for UCSF federal awards, the Controller’s Office and OSR maintain the University’s registration in SAM, including CCR and ORCA.
