Boundless San Francisco - new opportunity from Lever for Change and Crankstart Foundation

Lever for Change, in partnership with the Crankstart Foundation, has issued a request for applications for its Boundless San Francisco program.  This opportunity is open to proposals from anywhere in the world, in any subject area, for projects that will primarily benefit San Francisco, with no more than 25% of project activities aimed at benefitting the broader Bay Area. 

Michael J. Fox Foundation Parkinson's Disease Therapeutics Pipeline Program

The Michael J. Fox Foundation has issued a request for applications for its Parkinson’s Disease Therapeutics Pipeline Program.  This program provides funding to accelerate pre-clinical and clinical development of disease-modifying or symptomatic interventions for Parkinson’s disease, as well as support for integration and analysis of decision-informing biomarker tools. 

ARPA-H Funding Opportunity: Ascent-IBO

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has announced a new funding opportunity, Accelerating Safe Clinical Evaluation of Novel Treatments: Ibogaine for Better Outcomes in OUD (ASCENT-IBO). The initiative seeks to accelerate the early clinical development of ibogaine as a potential treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD), particularly for patients at increased risk of mortality.

American Academy of Neurology Research Program

The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) is now accepting applications for multiple opportunities as part of its Research Program. These awards will fund patient-oriented research conducted with human subjects, or translational research specifically designed to develop treatments or enhance diagnosis of neurological disease. These areas of research include epidemiologic or behavioral studies, clinical trials, studies of disease mechanisms, the development of new technologies, and health services and outcomes research.

Foundation for Prader-Willi Research - Grant Program

The Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR) has issued a request for applications for its Grant Program.  FPWR accepts applications in all areas of research relevant to Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and Schaaf-Yang Syndrome (SYS), but is especially interested in projects that will lead to new interventions to alleviate the symptoms associated with PWS. Areas of particular interest include:

The Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation has issued a request for applications for its Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemical Sciences or Chemical Instrumentation Award Program.  This program supports advanced research by postdoctoral scholars within the core areas of fundamental chemistry or the development and build of chemical instrumentation. Research must be innovative in method, speed or process, or represent new instrument technology.
