The American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) and the Glenn Foundation for Medical Research (GFMR) have issued a request for applications for their Glenn Foundation Discovery Award program.  This Award was created to support research projects with strong potential to develop pioneering discoveries for understanding the underlying biological mechanisms that govern normal human aging and its related physiological decline. 

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) has issued a request for applications for its Career Development Awards to Foster Diversity and Inclusion.

Discovery Grants

The Foundation Fighting Blindness has issued a request for applications for its Career Development Award program.  The goal of this program is to help advance junior clinical research scientists in their professional endeavors to cure retinal degenerative disease by facilitating advances in laboratory and clinical research, elucidating the mechanism for the cause and pathogenesis of retinal degenerative diseases, and developing innovative strategies to prevent, treat and cure these diseases.

The Larry L. Applications for the Center for Aging in Diverse Communities (CADC) Scientist Program 2026 is now open. 

 The CADC is now requesting applications for CADC Scientists who will conduct one-year pilot studies to investigate research questions on health disparities and aging. We are committed to mentoring CADC Scientists during and following their one-year pilot study to support development of a successful research career.
