The Office of Sponsored Research includes Research Management Services (RMS), Government and Business Contracts (GBC) and Industry Contracts Division (ICD). Learn more about each of our offices by selecting below.
Research Management Services (RMS) provides expert administrative support to all researchers, from pre-award through the award process on all grant mechanisms. RMS teams collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI), his/her department and our sponsors so that PIs may be successful in their research grants.
GBC provides expert services including proposal development, contract negotiation and award acceptance to faculty seeking contracts with federal, state, municipal or foreign governments. Our team also provides contracting services to schools, faculty, and core labs needing negotiation and advice on training affiliations and professional services.
Industry Contracts Division (ICD) reviews, negotiates and executes all of industry sponsored research agreements. These include agreements for non-disclosure/confidentiality, material transfers, data use, research agreements, collaborations, clinical trials, and other agreements that may be funded by an industry sponsor.
