NIH has issued Notice NIH will no longer require applicants to request written permission from the ICO and/or document receipt of permission as part of the Cover Letter attachment on the SF424 (R&R) Form.
Important reminders:
Funding remains contingent on ICO interest and priorities.
Applicants may use the PHS Assignment Request Form to indicate preferred ICO assignment.
NIH generally will not issue an award if the federal award date is after the conference start date.
