CDPH CPR3

***Please distribute this information to all appropriate faculty and staff within your department***

Dear Colleagues,

UCSF has received a contract from the State of California to manage the Request For Proposal (RFP) process for the California Department of Public Health CPR3 program.

The CPR3 team recently released RFPs seeking California-focused pandemic recovery and readiness research related to two priority topics:

  1. The COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on children and adolescents
  2. The COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on mental health.

These funding opportunities are open to all UC investigators. Three award types ranging from $100,000 to $300,000 are available. The submission deadline for applications is February 28th, 2023, at 6:00 pm PST. Please see the Announcement for details.

As a general rule, intramural applications from UCSF PIs are not reviewed by the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR); however, for the CDPH CPR3 program, per the guidance in the RFP, UCSF PIs are required to send their CPR3 proposals to the Government Contracts team in OSR for review and assistance with budget development.

Potential applicants who have not yet reached out to OSR should write to [email protected] to indicate their interest.
