The Research Development Office (RDO) fosters scientific collaborations between internal and external research teams and facilitates proposal development for large, multi-investigator project grants. The RDO is also home to the Resource Allocation Program and the Limited Submission Program.
Research Management Services (RMS) provides expert administrative support to all researchers, from pre-award through the award process on all grant mechanisms. RMS teams collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI), his/her department and our sponsors so that PIs may be successful in their research grants.
GBC provides expert services including proposal development, contract negotiation and award acceptance to faculty seeking contracts with federal, state, municipal or foreign governments. Our team also provides contracting services to schools, faculty, and core labs needing negotiation and advice on training affiliations and professional services.
The Research Services Satisfaction Survey was conducted in June 2014 by the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies in order to evaluate the impact of recent organizational changes within the Office of Sponsored Research on consumers of research services. Results were also used to measure change in client satisfaction from 2013 to 2014. The survey had a total of 1,120 respondents and, of those, 300 were anonymously matched as having responded in both 2013 and 2014.
