For a study supported by NIH that will generate large-scale genomic data or use large-scale genomic data from a NIH-designated data repository (dbGaP), the application should include a data sharing plan or plans for requesting data (see NOT-OD-15-083). If the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) requires UCSF IRB review and approval of the proposed Consent form to the proposed human subjects protocol contact the PIs assigned RSC as soon as possible. Further guidance provided on the OSR Website - GDS Policy page.
