The Office of Sponsored Research is hosting two international NCURA Fellows from July 25 – August 5. The international NCURA Fellows Programs exist in order to aid in the training of research administrators, and to enhance global research collaborations.
Krisztina Cziner of Aalto University in Finland is one of the five selected 2016 NCURA Global Fellows. Krisztina currently serves as Senior Grant Writer within Aalto University’s Research and Innovation Services unit, and will be focusing her fellowship on pre-award services and organizational structures, NIH and NSF grant mechanisms, international grants management and electronic submission systems. Krisztina holds a Doctor of Science in Technology and a Masters in Chemical Engineering.
Barbara Slattery will be joining us as part of the inaugural Australasia Research Management Society (ARMS) - NCURA Fellowship program. Barbara is the Manager, Research Information in the Research Development team at the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. During her visit, Barbara plans to examine innovative approaches to supporting multidisciplinary health and medical research grant applications with a particular eye on CTSI’s Open Proposals initiative.
